How do I start to describe the super helpful human that is anna at bondi. As an airbnb host she is 10/10: Hard working (fielding emails at all hours to ensure maximum occupancy and the right guests) Thorough (in that she explains all aspects of the process and then you can have as much or as little to do with it as you wish) and Patient (answering all queries with ease) Anna is just a good girl She is clever, kind and full of joy and all of our feedback has been positive because of her efforts. I am extremely grateful that she is taking care of my apartment.

I’ve lived and worked between Sydney and Europe for a very long time and although I'm now living back in Sydney I still travel a lot - so decided to make the property work for me while I'm away by giving Airbnb a go. All good in theory, but what about management?
Well to be honest, my first attempt last year was a disaster as the so-called agent didn't manage anything other than scraping off their commission and throwing in as many other additional charges as they could. As a result, the house ended up with all sorts of unverified people in it, and a mess by the time I returned.
Given that experience I was quite hesitant about trying it again this year, but now that I'm a few months in with Anna as manager/co-host I'm very glad I did! All the guests I've had staying have been great as Anna is on top of the verification, assessment and meet-and-greet process, the house has been well cared for with regular checks to make sure everything is ok, communication has been easy, and I've been getting some handy income. Exactly what I was hoping for!
